Every September, the Sherburne Women's Club begins it's new year of fun-filled social events.  We also start our fund-raising projects for the community--perhaps never so important than at this time.  This newsletter brings you information on upcoming events that we hope you will be able to participate in, so that we may achieve our goals.

Sante Fe Golf Tournament

Green Mountain National Golf Course

Thursday, September 15th, 2011

Bakers and Volunteers Urgently Needed!

The Sherburne Women's Club has attended the Sante Fe Golf Tournaments for many years.  Members have generously baked goods for the Club to sell to the golfers. This is a very successful fundraiser for us.

If you can find the time to bake for us, it would be greatly appreciated.  Please drop off your contribution at The Green Mountain National Golf Course at 10:30 AM on Thursday, September 15th.

So please, if you can give some time between the hours of 11 AM and 5 PM to help sell the baked goods or work the grill, that would be fantastic.  Even one hour of your time would really be a great help.  All volunteers can get in touch with Kim Gaines, who is coordinating the volunteers.  Contact her by email at: kgaines81@yahoo.com  or by phone at 516-782-8552.

Meet Your Neighbor Night

Thursday, September 22nd at 6:30 PM

The Sherburne Women's Club will host this year's kick-off event at the home of Janina Curtis.

Meet Your Neighbor Night is always a great opportunity to meet new people and catch up with old friends after a busy summer.  As always, the SWC welcomes new members, so if you know people who are new to the community, please invite them along.

Everyone is welcome!

**Please bring your $20 dues on that evening as it is our intention to donate a portion of the funds to the Killington Irene Relief Fund.  If you wish to donate more, you can also do this on that evening.

If you are unable to attend, please mail your dues to:
